Community Standards
Random Video Call connects you with a real person for a live conversation. That only works if people feel safe using it. These standards apply to every call, every profile, and every message on the platform — no exceptions for "just joking" or "it's a private call".
1. You must be 18 or older
This app is for adults. You confirm your date of birth when you sign up, and an account found to belong to someone under 18 is permanently removed — see our Child Safety Policy for more.
2. Not allowed, ever
- Sexual content involving, or appearing to involve, a minor — zero tolerance, immediate permanent ban, see our Child Safety Policy.
- Nudity or sexual content directed at another user without their consent, or exposing yourself on camera.
- Harassment, bullying, or threats — including following up outside the app after being told to stop.
- Hate speech — attacking someone for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar.
- Impersonation — pretending to be someone else, including a public figure.
- Spam, scams, or advertising another product or service through the app.
- Recording or distributing another person's video without their knowledge or consent.
- Bots, scripts, or pre-recorded video standing in for a real person — the "people online" count is always real, and we intend to keep it that way.
3. Reporting and blocking
Every call has a one-tap Report button, available during the call and immediately after it ends. Reporting someone ends your call straight away, and you'll never be matched with that person again. Blocking is separate from reporting and available from your call history — a blocked user can never be matched with you again, whether or not you also reported them.
4. How enforcement works
Reports feed into a trust score for each account, weighted by how trustworthy the reporter's own account is — so a single bad-faith report, or a pile-on of them, can't take down someone's account on its own. What happens next depends on what's reported:
- Automatic, temporary suspension can happen once a trust score crosses a threshold, pending review.
- Nudity and harassment reports, once upheld, lead to a suspension or ban directly — never just a warning on a second offence.
- Permanent bans always go through human review before they're final; an automatic system flags accounts, but a person decides on a permanent ban.
