Child Safety Policy
1. Random Video Call is an adults-only app
The app is rated 18+ and is not directed at, marketed to, or intended for use by anyone under 18. Every account must confirm a date of birth at sign-up, and that date of birth cannot be changed afterwards. An account found to belong to someone under 18 is permanently removed, no exceptions.
2. What we prohibit
The following are strictly prohibited, result in an immediate and permanent ban, and — where the law requires or allows it — are reported to the relevant authorities:
- Any sexualised content, comment, or behaviour involving, or appearing to involve, a minor;
- Soliciting, grooming, or attempting to make contact with a minor for any sexual purpose;
- Sharing, requesting, or discussing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form;
- Using the app in any way to facilitate exploitation of a minor, on or off the platform.
3. How we act on it
- Priority handling. A report that involves, or may involve, a minor is escalated ahead of every other report in our moderation queue and is never left in an ordinary queue.
- Evidence. Reports carry a small amount of evidence (a few still images from the reported video) so our moderation team can act on facts, not guesswork — see our Privacy Policy for exactly what that involves and how long it's kept.
- Enforcement. A confirmed CSAE violation results in an immediate, permanent ban. There is no warning step for this category, unlike some other Community Standards violations.
- Reporting to authorities. Where we are legally required or permitted to do so, we report confirmed or suspected CSAE to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the appropriate local authority, and preserve relevant evidence for that purpose.
4. How to report something
Every call has a one-tap Report button, reachable during the call and immediately after it ends, with "they appear to be under 18" as one of the listed reasons — you never need to leave the call screen or dig through a menu to use it. If you believe you've encountered CSAE anywhere in or around the app and the in-app report isn't available to you for any reason, contact us directly:

If a child is in immediate danger, please also contact your local police or emergency services directly — don't wait on a report to us first.
